Coffee Time!

Hey, I’m Sheena. Welcome to my new daily ramblings lifestyle blog! Here you will find posts about whatever is going on in my squirrel brain today. It could be anything from mom life to dating to ADHD, mental health or whatever I may feel like in that moment. Some posts will be funny, some will be difficult, and some will be both. I’m not an expert at much of anything but I feel it’s important to share our wins and struggles with others so that they feel like they are not alone. So are you ready to become daily coffee besties??

Who am I and what should you expect to read here?

I am a divorced mom of three from Minnesota. I’ve lived here my entire life. I married my high school sweetheart at 21. As life sometimes does, it took us down different paths almost two years ago. In this time, I have done a lot of work on myself to heal wounds from childhood and beyond. Mental health and therapy are extremely important to me. On top of seeing my therapist weekly, I also spend a lot of time listening to podcasts and Audible books about healing and personal growth. Watch for a post on some of my favorites soon. In the meantime, if you want to get started with a good book, Glennon Doyle is one of my favorites and a big reason I decided to take up blogging again as an outlet. She has a few titles as well as a podcast that are all great.

You will also find posts about adventures of living with a household of people with ADHD. All three of my kids and I have it in varying degrees. Sometimes it’s funny, sometimes it’s extremely frustrating. We have found ways to make it work, though!

Just another day with ADHD

Parenting…what an adventure!

Picnic day with the kiddos

My kiddos keep life interesting. I have two teens and one pre-teen. We are at that awkward new stage where they seem to either need me 24/7 or are too busy for even their mama between school, work, sports, and friends. It’s fun to watch them grow and become independent but it’s lonely and scary at times too. As moms, we tend to get so wrapped up in being MOM that we forget how to be an individual. My oldest will be headed off to college next year and I’m already sad. But I am so, so proud of all of my children and can’t wait to see the amazing things they accomplish in life.

I hope you enjoy my ramblings and take something away from them whether it be a good laugh, hope, or just to know you’re not alone in your struggles. I can’t wait to go on this journey with you!! If you ever want to reach out, you can do so here! I promise I will read every single message and respond as soon as I can!

Love,

Sheena
